Lillian “Bea” Haley Life and Legacy

 Mother Lillian Bea Haley was born on May 22, 1930 in Pace, Mississippi to the union of the Late James Haley Sr., and C.D. McClain Haley.

She relocated to Benton Harbor, MI and has resided in the area for over 70 years. 

She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Lillian enjoyed cooking.  She was a member of Greater Grace Temple Church for over 36 years under the leadership of Elder George Dewberry. She was a Missionary Choir member, Church Mother, on the Usher Board, head of the Baptism Committee, and in charge of the kitchen.

Mother Lillian was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She never hesitated to help those in need.

On Monday, July 17, 2017, Jesus Christ quietly called Mother Haley home to rest from her labor.

Mother Lillian leaves her legacy in the hearts of three children, Vicki (Pastor Nevin) Anderson of Eau Claire, MI; Kenneth Haley and Anthony Haley both of Benton Harbor, MI; four sisters, Annie Ruth Cleve of Benton Harbor, Michigan; Ruby Arms of TX; Dorothy Jean (Larry) Collins and Sally Haley both of Marion, Arkansas; four brothers, James Fuse of Benton Harbor, Michigan; James Haley, Jr. (Gloria Jean) of Turrell, Arkansas, John (Evelyn) Haley of Blytheville, Arkansas; Sonjohn (Particia) Haley of West Memphis, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren; a very special God-sister Mary Hegler, God-daughters, Beverly Coffey-Davis and Cynthia Travis, a God-son, Eric Cannon, her Church family and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Her parents, a daughter Bernice Haley, her brothers, Floyd Haley, Louis Haley, Samuel Haley, David Fuse, Eddie Haley, Jessie Fuse and a sister Viola Leonard preceded her in death.
