Willie L Dumas Sr.

Willie L. Dumas Sr. passed away on April 17, 2018 with his wife at his side. A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday April 21st at 1451 East Main St. Church of Christ Benton Harbor MI. The visitation will begin at 11:00 am.

Willie, was born February 19, 1946. to Dorothy Dumas in Gulfport. Mississippi.

He attends school in Hammond, LA. In 1968 he relocated to Benton Harbor MI. where he married his wife of 54 years Betty Headspeth and to this union four children were born.

Willie retired from Michigan Tubes after 27 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, leading song service, spending time with his family and helping others in any why he could, He was well respected by all.

Willie is survived by his wife, Betty Dumas; sons- Willie L. Dumas Jr.(Terry),

Rickey L. Dumas Sr.(Martha) Daughters: Dorothy S. Dumas-Broyles (Terry), Denise Dumas. God son Deonte Randolph. Brother; Melvin Greely, Sister; Ophelia Dumas-Route.

12 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

Willie was proceeded in death by his mother; Dorothy Dumas, Brothers; Nathaniel Dumas, Lesley Greely, Sisters; Deloris Greely, Beverly-Ann Dumas, Erma Jean Dumas and God son; Anthony (Tanka) Rush.
