William "Uncle J.C." Coleman

William "Uncle J.C." Coleman 73, was born May 23, 1947 in Dyersburg, TN. to the union of Moses & Tommie Mae Coleman.

J.C. relocated to Benton Harbor, MI. in 1952, became a jack of all trades, and worked in various fields during his life time.

J.C. loved spending time with family, friends, and most importantly his grandchildren.

J.C. departed this life to be with the Lord on Saturday April 10, 2021 surrounded by family and loved ones.

J.C. leaves to cherish his memory: children: Gloria Clay, Myron Coleman, Latonya Reed, Tonia Childs, William (Darshieka) Coleman Jr, Nacole Coleman, and Nacia Coleman; brothers: Jerry (Ora) Washington Jr., Robert Washington, Halem Washington, sisters; Mary (Mike) Zuiderveen, Annette Washington, Ella Scott, Rose Washington, Geraldine Penn,  sister in law; Debra Charlotte Washington; special brother in law; Ricardo Scott;

God daughter/caregiver, Nikki Hankins; and caregiver Rosella Lewis with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.

William was preceded in death by parents, Moses and Tommie Mae Coleman, Son; William Darnell Coleman, Brothers; Gussie Coleman and Jerry Lee Washington.
