Wesley David Wilson was born on September 24, 1964, to the late Charlie and Bernice Weaver in Berrien Center, Michigan. At a young age, David was adopted by Fred and Viola Johnson. He was blessed to have two sets of loving parents. He attended Eau Claire High School where he played football.
Wesley departed this life on December 3, 2022, to be with the Lord and his heavenly family. He leaves behind a legacy of three generations of family history. He will always be remembered as a person of strength and faith, who fought off many illnesses, was persistent, and never gave up on life until the Lord decided to take her home. He loved and missed his brothers unconditionally, now they are reunited.
Wesley leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Nancy Judson-Wilson, Benton Harbor, Michigan; three sons, Wesley Sparks of Minnesota; Melvin (Shelly) Judson and James Judson of Benton Harbor, Michigan; four daughters, Jasmine (Devon) Robinson, Lekisha Herron both of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Julice Wilson and Jutay Burton both of Indianapolis, Indiana, One brother, Rodney Warren of Elkhart, Indian, four sisters, Terry Lynn (Johnnie) Walter, Ida Vaught both of Benton Harbor, Michigan, Carrol Pettis of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Tonya Weaver of Lansing, Michigan, a special granddaughter/ daughter Da’nesha Judson of Dallas, Texas, twenty-two grandkids, one best friend Johnny Clark, two special friends Tyland Parker and Baldwin Jones, and the Light of his “Eye” Jas’Monay Robinson and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Wesley was preceded in death by his paternal and adopted parents; Charlie Wilson and Bernice Wilson, Fred, and Viola Johnson, one sister, Mary Evelyn Atkins, and four brothers, Robert Wilson, Willie Wilson, Raymond Wilson, and Elvie Wilson.
