Virginia Depreashe Daniels was born on April 1, 1992, in San Pablo, California, to Rudell Johnson and Tammy Words. On February 19, 2003, she was adopted and loved by Johnnie and Glenda Daniels, who embraced her as their own daughter and surrounded her with love and support.
Virginia was raised in Benton Harbor, Michigan, where she attended Benton Harbor Area Schools. During her school years, she proudly cheered as a member of the Benton Harbor High School Cheerleading Team. She was known for her vibrant spirit and warm smile.
At an early age, Virginia accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She attended Progressive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. James O. Childs and actively participated in the church's youth choir. Her faith remained an important part of her life and guided her through many seasons.
Virginia worked in customer service for many years and was known for her dedication and friendly personality. She loved spending time with her children, family, and friends. She had a passion for fashion, enjoyed keeping up with the latest trends, and loved shopping. Her loving nature, unwavering faith, and joyful presence touched the lives of many and will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Virginia leaves not to mourn, but to cherish fond memories in the hearts of her children: Marcus Holmes Jr., Truth Randolph, Trust Randolph, and Kacee Randolph; her parents, Johnnie and Glenda Daniels; two brothers, Ezekiel Johnson and Antonio Kyles; and twelve sisters, Mayleenia Simpson, Christina Mortimore, Johnnettia Daniels, Taushenia Daniels, Asianna Daniels, Debreia Daniels, Keihinia Daniels, Anika Woods-Johnson, Nicole Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Jacqueline Johnson, and Natasha Johnson. She also leaves behind a special friend, Talvin Randolph and a host of nieces and nephews.
Virginia was preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Stevens; her maternal grandmothers, Hattie Pierce and Francis Runnels; her maternal grandfather, James Runnels; her paternal grandmothers, Viola Daniels and Virginia Lee; and her special cousin, Cherese Sims.
Though her time with us was far too short, Virginia's love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her
