Vina Mae (Johnson) Franklin

Vina M. Franklin, age 71, of Patterson, NJ transitioned on April 9, 2022. Vina was born on January 3, 1951. She is survived by her three children. Cynthia Renee Singh, Benton Harbor MI, Steven Joseph Wilson, Charlotte, NC and Sean Anthony Wilson, Benton Harbor MI. Vina’s parents moved her and 6 siblings to Benton Harbor, MI while they were young children. Vina was full of life and a vivacious person.  

Vina loved shopping and had a good sense of fashion and she worked at the Whirlpool call center for a short period. She would often talk of politics and about the fond memories of living in Patterson, NJ.

Besides her three children, Vina is survived by four of seven siblings. John Edward Johnson, Tampa Fl, Rocky Johnson, Indianapolis, IN, Diane Robinson, of  Grand Rapids MI, and Glenda Joyner, Douglasville, GA. Other surviving relatives include nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends. 

Vina is preceded by, her Mother Medora Johnson 2000, her sister Geraldine Johnson 2020, and her youngest brother Frank Johnson 2019.
