Ta'Shayla V. Lacy

Ta’Shayla Vernae Lacy was born May 14, 1996, to James Lacy, Jr, and Vanessa Lee in St. Joseph Michigan. Ta’Shayla transitioned to her heavenly home, March 17, 2020, in St. Joseph, Michigan. Ta’Shayla attended school in the Benton Harbor Schools District and graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 2014. Soon after graduation Ta’Shayla started working in Customer Relations.

Ta’Shayla loved her family and friends dearly. One of her greatest traits was helping others and looking for nothing in return. She was lovely, kind, and had a bubbly spirit. Ta’Shayla really enjoyed spending time with her family. Ta’Shayla was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend.

Ta’Shayla will forever be remembered in the hearts of her beautiful daughters: London Perry and Morgan Thompson. Close Cousins: Demarcus Bland, Calving Rogers Jr, La’Danny Stevens, Adonis Stevens, Fred Gilmore IV, Shawn Green Jr, Ta’ja Heath, Alexis Heath, Madison Willie, and Payton Joi Willie. Also, a host of Great Aunts and Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

Also proceed by death her daughter:  Raelynn Stubbs, Maternal Grand Parents: Calvin and Gennie Rogers, Uncles: Calvin Rogers Sr, William Lacy and Aunt: Ingrid Williams.
