The Life of Russell H. Butler was born to James & Mildred Butler on July 30, 1940, in Morley, Missouri, the second oldest son to this union. Russell had a happy and jolly spirit; it was always a joy to be in his presence and truly an honor to have him as our brother. Russell was educated in the Sikeston, Missouri school system where he graduated.
Russell relocated to Benton Harbor, Michigan where he met and married Linda Patterson, to this union they had 7 children Robert, Chris, Marie, Tim, Renee, Russell Jr. Kenny, and William.
Mr. Butler was a very hard worker, he was employed with Auto Specialist, for over 20 years.
Russell was an avid fisherman who enjoyed being out on the water relaxing. He loved spending time with family and was very supportive. He will truly be missed by us all.
He leaves to cherish his memories of his wife Linda, his children, grandchildren, (2) sisters, Odessa McClellon and Betty Duvall, (5) Brothers; Jim, Don, Earnest, William, and Chris Butler, a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones. Russell’s loving and kind spirit will forever be in our hearts.
Mr. Butler was preceded in death by his father James, mother, Mildred, his son Robert, (4) Brothers, Joseph, Harold, Vernon, Carl, and Ervin.
