Rosie M. Daniels

Our dear mother, Rosie Mae Daniels of Benton Harbor, sadly passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 77. She was surrounded by her loving family at home as she peacefully joined the Lord.

Rosie was a devoted mother, always there when others needed her most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. A true friend to many, she found joy in cooking, dancing, and cherishing her family. Her warm spirit will forever be remembered.

Rosie was born on November 14, 1947, in Independence, Louisiana, to Leslie James and Corrine Hutchinson. She accepted the Lord as her Savior at an early age. Throughout her life, she worked at several farms and Michigan Tube in Eau Claire, MI.

Rosie is survived by her loving family: children: Junior (Mike) Hutchinson, Eldoria (Levester) Jones, Robert Cloy and Beverly Cloy; siblings: Cora Mae (Jimmie) McCoy, Joyce Hutchinson, Lucy Mae (Edward) Keith of Ponchatoula, LA, Earl Hutchinson and Leslie (Barbara) James

Rosie was also blessed with a devoted husband, Joseph Daniels, as well as her special friend, Diana Allen, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Rosie was preceded in death by her mother, Corrine Hutchinson; father, Leslie James Sr.; brother, Percy Hutchinson; sister, Ora Lee Hutchinson; and her longtime companion, William (Billy) Martinez Jr.
