Robert Williams Jr.

Robert Jr. William 59 of Benton Harbor transitioned, Monday, October 10, 2023 in Stevensville. He was born on March 13, 1964, in Independence, Louisiana to Robert and Mary J. Williams.

Robert Jr., as he was known by family and friends was raised in Benton Harbor, where he attended Benton Harbor Area School. He was stern but very fun-loving, he loved laughing and joking, listening to music, and hanging out with friends and family. Robert Jr. was a tough and caring and left many to cherish his memory.

Robert Jr is survived by his mother, Mary J. Williams, who he loved dearly and 10 children: John Holton, Rodrick Holton, Samika(Antonio) Douglas, Cassandra Williams, Camilious Thompson(all of Grand Rapids, MI) ,Destiney Williams, Robert Dynes, Desire Williams (all of Minneapolis, MN), Tariq Askia( Chicago, Ill) Shawnese Williams(Battle Creek, MI); sisters: Patricia Ward, Diane Thomas (Benton Harbor, MI), Barbara Sorth Williams, and Geraldine Williams; Brothers: Larry Williams(Benton Harbor, MI) Wallace Williams, Johnny Williams, and Vernon Williams; Special friend: Mayliza Ferguson, 11 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family, all who loved him dearly.

Robert is preceded in death by 2 children, Robert Lamont Williams, and NaKeshia Stewart; his father, Robert Williams; brothers: Robert Sr. Williams, Leroy Williams, Ronnie Williams; sisters: Mary Ann Williams, Collette Williams-Hayes, Betty Sue Williams, Willie Mae Williams, and JoAnna Williams, maternal and paternal grandparents.
