Rhonda Lynn Brown

Rhonda Lynn (Ervin) Brown was born on Saturday May 20, 1967 to the late Christine Ervin and Larry Travis in Kiser, Arkansas.  She departed this life on Wednesday February 26, 2025 at Corewell Health, St Joseph, MI surrounded  by family.

Rhonda attended Benton Harbor Area Schools and also the Job Corp program.  She made sure to tell everyone that she loved them while waiting on our response to say WE love you to RhonLynn while giving us that infectious smile.  Rhonda adored her grandchildren and made sure to spend as much time as possible loving on her special little ones.

Rhonda joined the 2nd Chance True Gospel Ministries Church in Benton Harbor, MI where she enjoyed fellowship until her health no longer allowed her to worship in the physical.  

Rhonda will always be remembered for her style of dress, dancing,  joking and talking a whole lot of mess with her loved ones.  Rhonda was affectionately known as RhonLynn.  She will be missed but the years of laughter, love and memories will last a lifetime. Rhonda will forever be remembered in the hearts of her father Larry Travis, (3) children Corvell Ervin of Forth Worth, TX, Casey Ervin and Lawrence Franklin of Holland, MI., (13) grandchildren, (4) sisters Kawanda Gordon of Benton Harbor, MI, Venita,  Stephanie and Mysherrii Travis all of Illinois. (3) brothers Larry Jr., Demont and Aaron Travis and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Rhonda was proceeded in death by her mother Christine Ervin, maternal grandfather John Lee Ervin, maternal grandmother Willie Bea Ervin.  Paternal grandparents Grover & Earlie Travis.   Uncles Willie Bo Ervin, Nathan Ervin, Christopher Ervin, Jeremiah Ervin, special cousin Sean Ervin and other loving family members.
