Renee L (Dickerson) Conrick

Renee Leanette Dickerson-Conrick was born May 28, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois, to Ethel Dickerson and Willie Ingram. Renee passed away unexpectedly at home in Benton Harbor, Mi October 5, 2020.

Renee joined New Bethel Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Mitchel Raspberry.   She attended elementary school in Benton Harbor, MI, and graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1972. Upon graduation, she entered Lake Michigan Community College to study Accounting.

She moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1973 and was employed by Supreme Life Insurance.  Renee attended Taylor Business Institute acquiring a degree in business education. She returned to Benton Harbor, Michigan in 1985 and joined Ebenezer Baptist Church where she became a faithful and devoted member under the leadership of Rev. Brian A. Clayborn. While at Ebenezer, she served as a dedicated Church Administrator.  

She married Duane Conrick on February 14, 2000,  and he preceded her in death in 2019. Mourning her untimely passing are Ethel Dickerson, mother; Shimonta Dickerson, daughter; Jayson Dickerson, son; Duane, Jr. (Brandie) and Peter, stepsons; Cerillio and Rashad Fuller, and Jayden Johnson, godsons; Barbara Bruins, Jo Anne Robinson, Ora Williams, special friends; and a host of cousins and others.
