“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death, or mourning, or crying or pain for the old order of things has passed away” Revelations 21:4 (NIV)
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Raymond.
Raymond Louis Duncan was born on July 10, 1987, to the late Phillip Ray Duncan Sr. and Belinda Brown in Berrien Springs, MI. Raymond transitioned from this life at the early age of 37, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Raymond grew up in Benton Harbor, MI, and received his education through Benton Harbor Area Schools, where he participated in many sports. He was employed in retail at Home Depo, and he took pride in his work. At a young age, Raymond was baptized at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church under the late Rev. Walter Brown.
Raymond loved spending time with family and friends, and he brought light and energy into every room he entered. He had a generous spirit, contagious smile, and a heart that embraced everyone, whether he knew you for a long time or just met you.
Raymond leaves behind precious memories in the hearts of his mother Belinda (Charly) Barton, and grandmother Bernice Brown-Bell of Benton Harbor, MI, one brother, Phillip Duncan Jr., of Columbus, Ohio, one sister, Stephanie Duncan, of Benton Harbor, MI; one nephew, Brian Duncan and one niece, Celeste Cook-bey, both of Benton Harbor, MI, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
