Ray L Beck, Sr., 77 years old, took his final rest on September 13, 2022 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville, Michigan.
Born in New Madrid, Missouri on August 17,1945, Ray was the son of Jessie Beck and Geneva Beck. He grew up in Benton Harbor, Michigan and graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1964. He later worked for Michigan Gas Utilities for over 20 years as a natural gas technician.
Ray, Sr. was blessed with two children in his union to Lorah Beck - Theresa Beck (Roberson) and Ray Beck, II. He loved the Lord, as he was a Seventh Day Adventist since childhood. He gave his life to Christ at an early age and re-dedicated his life to Christ in the year of 2022. Operating in the gift of helps, Ray L Beck, Sr. could often be found giving donations to different charities, volunteering his time at the soup kitchen, and helping anyone in need. He had a passion for helping kids, and enjoyed making financial contributions to various organizations.
Ray L Beck, Sr. enjoyed fishing, watching sports, playing the guitar, listening to music, barbequing, and enjoying quality time with his brother “Boom” Charles Beck. They shared a special bond with each other that truly made them BROTHERS. He will be most remembered for being the life of any party and for his jokes!
Ray L. Beck, Sr. was preceded in death by his father Jessie Beck and his brother Kenneth Beck.
To cherish his memories, he leaves behind his wife Ida Beck, his children Theresa Roberson (Clint) and Ray Beck, II (Monique), his sister Dorothy Thomas, his brother Charles Beck, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
