Pamela Adriane Rainer was born on December 26, 1965. She was the second child of Sidney E. Little and Patricia A. Little (mom proceeded her in death). Pamela grew up with her big sister Regina, baby sister Nanette (proceeded her in death) and younger brother Sidney E. Little. The family resided on the south side of Chicago all of her life.
Pamela accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early aged and was baptized while attending Apostolic Faith Church under the leadership of Bishop Horace Smith, MD. She received her formal education at Carter Elementary School and Englewood High School. Upon graduation, she joined the army. Unfortunately, it was a short-lived experience. She returned home and not long after doing so she met her first husband Derek Moore. They would eventually move to Benton Harbor, MI. It was during that time that they both became members of The Church in Benton Harbor, MI. Sadly, the marriage would not continue but as God would see fit, Pam was not destined to stay single. He brought Abe Rainer into her life and she would once again say “I do”.
Pam was a devoted member of The Church in Benton Harbo. She was known for her unwavering faith and strong connection to God as well as to His people. Despite facing challenges, she remained steadfast and dedicated. Pam had a great passion for cooking and dining out, particularly enjoying Chinese Buffet. She had a remarkable memory and her favorite color was blue. Pam was known for being assertive, outspoken, and brutally honesty. At the same time, she was compassionate, caring and forgiving. What truly made Pam stand out was her love for dancing, singing praises to the Lord, and her signature testimonial introduction, “Praise the Lord saints, there is victory in the camp tonight!” Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
On Monday, October 14, 2024 at 12:54a.m., Pamela Adriane Rainer answered the call from Her Lord and Savior and was taken from labor to reward. Although Pamela’s health took a sudden and unexpected decline within a short period of just 6+ weeks, she will be remembered as one who enjoyed life, lived life to the fullest and above all loved her church family dearly.
Pamela leaves those to treasure and cherish her memories, Husband, Abe Rainer; Sister, Regina Little; Brother, Sidney Little Jr.; 3 Nieces, Kayla Little, Ariel Little and Shermetrice Stewart; 2 Great Nephews, Izaih Little and Tyrell Conley; 2 Great Nieces, Aryana Little and Amber Little; 1 Uncle, Mitchell Campbell (Theola); 1 Auntie, Zora Campbell, a host of first cousins, 4 great aunts, more cousins, friends and her beloved church family.
