Orlando Williams Obituary

Orlando Williams was born October 20, 1972, in Benton Harbor Michigan to Floyd Davis and Dortha Williams. In 1998 Orlando started his career as a DOD employee, in Anchorage, Alaska. Today, though we celebrate the ending of a life, let us not look at it as an ending, but as a testament to a man who has fought the great fight in this world, we call life. God felt his mission on this earth was complete and called his child home.

Orlando was a unique soul, one of a kind, to those who experienced him. Orlando was a father to his four beautiful daughters: Netasha Christian Johnson, Nautica Christian, Jada Morgan, and Jawai Williams, and a grandfather. leaving his legacy to his beloved grandchildren. Jawai remembers her father as a man who exuded love in everything he did - his smile, his warmth, his kindness, and his humility. She cherishes the memory of the "nuggets" of wisdom he shared and recalls him always being there to cheer her on, whether it was on the basketball court, the volleyball court, or the soccer field.

Orlando is remembered by Latisha McDowell, the mother of Netasha Christian Johnson and Nautica Christian. Natasha Williams, the mother of Jada Morgan and Jawai Williams. Orlando has been called home to be reunited with his mother Dortha Marie Williams, father Floyd Lee Davis Sr.,  brother Roulous C. Davis  and sister Felicia Thomas. Orlando cherished his niece, WaQuilla
Whitfield (Feeheart), whom he truly loved dearly, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Orlando is also remembered by his loving sisters and brothers: Karen V. Davis, Floyd L Davis, Jr (Aretha), of Cleveland, TN, Mary (Jackie) Woods of Murfreesboro, TN, Michael L Davis  , Chattanooga, TN, Patience Davis-Howard (Dimitri) of Nashville, TN, Gary (Paula) Williams of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Terrell (Tonda) Williams of San Antonio,TX.
