Ora Lee Daniels

Ora L Daniels, 60 of Benton Harbor passed away June 12, 2021 at home. Ora was born August 30, 1960 to the union of Gus & Viola Daniels.  After graduating from high school Ora became a homemaker.  She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Progressive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. James O Childs. The simplest things made her happy, shopping, going out to eat, listening to music, or just hanging out with family. Ora also enjoyed lifetime movies and loved the game show Family Feud.

Ora was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandma, sister, auntie & friend. Her battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed her courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Ora stayed strong until the very end.

Ora is survived by her 3 children Yasha Daniels & Andrew Deon Daniels (both Benton Harbor Mi) Gyasi Daniels (Sioux Falls SD.) 2 sisters Eleanor Coburn of Benton Harbor Michigan & Diana Plunkett of Milwaukee Wi. 6 Brothers Augusta Daniels, Clarence (Latonia) Potts Johnnie (Glenda) Daniels all of Benton Harbor MI, Jessie (Angela) Daniels Milwaukee Wi, Carl (Towanda) Daniels of Indianapolis IN and Pervis (Rhonda) Daniels of Battle Creek Mi. 6 Grandchildren Brittney Payton (Boo Boo) Quantario Payton Jr. (Duka) of Benton Harbor, MI, Kevon Daniels, Devon Daniels, Jordan Daniels and, Tadaisha Daniels, all of Milwaukee Wi, 2 great-grandchildren Bella McElrath Payton & Armani Dior Payton both of Benton Harbor, MI 1 Aunt Louise Pullen; A host of niece’s nephews, cousins & friends.Ora was preceded in death by her mother and father Gus & Viola Daniels, one Aunt Jessie Mae Wilson.
