On January 1st, 2024, the world became a little less bright with the passing of Norman Lee Moore, born on May 21, 1962, in Berrien Center, MI.
He spent the last years of his life living in Benton Harbor, MI, making those around him full of joy and laughter, with his generous and loving spirit. Norman was an avid socializer who never missed an opportunity of trying to be the life of the party. He was also a neat freak and a snazzy dresser. He’s always dressing up to show off. Norman loved his family, his cousins and his close friends. He never met a stranger.
Norman is survived by his mother Millie Lee Moore Carter and Step-father Tobias Carter of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two sisters, Libby Crittenden of La Porte, IN., and Sheila Moore of Benton Harbor, MI.; and a brother Leroy Moore of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his aunts, Ruthie Holliday of South Bend, IN., Helen Allen of South Bend, IN., Patricia (Elder Richard) Plowden of Dayton, OH., and Lora Moore of Berrien Center, MI.; and a uncle Danny (Kolleen) Moore of Dowagiac, MI., He also has a host of nieces, nephews, his favorite cousins of Elkhart, IN., with honorable mention to cousins Stacy, Charles, Earl, Ruby and Mary, his best friends Pastor Bullock and Keisha of Benton Harbor, MI.
He was preceded in death by his father Herman Brown, brother Terry Moore, uncle J.C. Moore and aunts Karen Perkins and Mary Moore.
