Mother Alice McAfee Clay was born on November 10, 1935, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Ernest and Cecilia Glasper. The youngest of twelve, she was affectionately known as “Baby Sister” and lived a life defined by faith, strength, and humility. Alice married Fletcher McAfee and together raised seven children while serving as a devoted pastor’s wife, singer, and prayer warrior in Los Angeles churches, making her home a center for love and prayer.
Her wisdom, wit, and dedication touched generations, leaving a legacy of faith and grace. She is survived by Alice (Bruce) Williams, Pastor Jerry (Carmen) McAfee, Christine Taylor, Bonita (Kevin) Mitchell, and Angela McAfee.
She was preceded in death by her two eldest children, Willie (Joan) McAfee and Clotee McAfee.
