Mildred Marie (Berry) Poole

Evangelist Mildred Marie Berry-Poole, also known as Dollbaby was born December 25, 1957, in Benton Harbor, MI to James Thomas and Ruth Nichols. She gave her life to Christ at 12 years of age. Mildred passed away at her home from natural causes on Monday, July 12, 2021.

If anyone knew Mildred, they knew she was a lover of the word and the Lord. When she passed, her bible was on her lap turned to Philippians 4; 4-7. 4 Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say, “Rejoice!” 5 Let your moderation be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Fret not about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

She was a phenomenal mother, grandmother, Good Samaritan to many, a songbird, missionary, prayer warrior, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend! She always had a worship song in her spirit and a scripture for any situation.

Mildred leaves to cherish her memories, her father, James Thomas Nichols of Benton Harbor, MI, two loving children, Marshall (Danielle) Frederick Hayes Jr. of Benton Harbor, MI and Nakeesha Marie Hayes of Las Vegas, NV. Nine grandchildren, Angel Hayes, Unique Hayes, Makailha Hayes, La’Bria Hayes, Maishaun Hayes, Darius Hayes, Marrieon Hayes, Maleyiah Hayes, and Novah Alexander Hayes. One great-grandchild, Amir Newborn. An abundance of siblings, Maxine Berry-Lewis of Carbondale, IL, Barbara Berry of Monroe, MI, Dennis (Lizzie) Berry of Joliet, IL, Janie (Reginald) Banks of Benton Harbor, MI, William Jones of Indianapolis, IN, James (Tametrese) Berry of Waco, TX, Ronald (Debbie) Berry of Hewitt, TX, Jackolin (Antonio) Ingram of Benton Harbor, MI and Teresa (Tipton) Walker of Benton Harbor, MI, Dorris Berry-Jordan of Las Vegas, NV and Kartaysa Berry-Williams of Las Vegas, NV. 

Mildred was preceded in death by her: Husband Pastor Larry Poole, Mother. Ruth Willebell Nichols, Brother, Virece (Pewee) Berry, and Brother, Standford Wright.
