A time to be born: Michelle Marie Rimpson-Hogan, 52 was born in Buchanan
Michigan to the union of the late James Earl and Patricia Ann (Miller) Rimpson
along with her twin sister, Rochelle Renee. Michelle crossed the finish line of this life and transitioned from Earth on July 29, 2021, in Knoxville, Tennessee.
A time to serve: Michelle was a 1986 graduate of Benton Harbor High School. She
worked various jobs in the community; she was a para-pro at Fairplain Jr High
and Martindale; she was also a childcare provider and worked for Shoreham Terrace.
Michelle accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age at Prayer Temple
COGIC under the leadership of her late father Elder James E. Rimpson, Sr. She
enjoyed talking on the phone, singing, ministering, and cooking. She was also
ordained as a minister along with her twin sister, Rochelle.

(Devon) Robinson, LeKisha Herron and April (Harold) Hughes; 12 grandchildren Malaysia, Devontez, Jas’monay, Ca’Mari, Jaimya, Devon Jr, Dyamond, Quantel Jr, King, Lundyn, N’Dya, and Hayden; 5 siblings-James Rimpson Jr, Frank (Teresa) Rimpson, Aaron (April) Rimpson, Shunta (Ken) Rimpson and Shametris Cotton; special nieces- Tyerrah and Ty’Asia; God-mothers-Bertha Seats, Shirley Sanders, and Joyce Mitchell; Godchildren Tanieya Hegar and Marcus Patrick and her special aunt, Bobbi Smith; her uncles-Roger Miller and Ernest Rimpson, Sr and Aunt Mary Rimpson along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Michelle was proceeded in death by parents Elder James and Patricia Rimpson;
twin sister, Rochelle Rimpson -Powell; paternal grandparents, U.T. and Mattie
Rimpson; maternal grandparents Frank and Corine Miller; uncle Ermest B.
McCall and former spouse, Samuel Simpson.
