Mary Cobb Obituary

Mary was born in Dexter, Missouri to the union of Willie and Augusta (Gilda) Carter. 

Mary worked for Benton Harbor Area Schools until she retired. 

Mary was a member of St Paul Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Elbert Brown.  She continued her membership after Rev Brown passed under the leadership of Elder George Robinson.  Mary was a member of the Usher Board where she served faithfully. 

She leaves to mourn 4 children: Rita Razor, Benton Harbor; Sharon (Bobby) Clark, Indianapolis IN; Louis (Rosemary) Winston, Benton Harbor; Marquita (Shannon) Harris, Stevensville. 12 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren. 1 sister, Virginia (James) Thigpen, Fayetteville NC; 1 Brother, Thomas (Mary) Carter, Dallas TX.  A host of nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cobb, her parents Willie and Augusta Carter, 1 grandson Willie Bernard Reese, 1 niece Pam Hull, and a host of aunts and uncles.
