Markus "Tatoo" D. Harden

Markus DeRon “Tatoo” Harden was born March 6, 1970 to Janice Jean (Norwood) Harden and the late Harry Harden.  He was the second oldest of three children.  Markus received his formal education from Benton Harbor Public School System.  He graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1989. 

Markus accepted Christ at a later age and was a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church under the late Walter Brown.

Markus was well known in his community.  He enjoyed fishing, riding his moped scooter, watching sports and hanging out with family and friends.

Markus departed this life on Wednesday November 9, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his father Harry Harden, grandparents; Sidney and Thelma Norwood, Andrew and Carrie Harden.

Markus leaves to cherish his memory: mother Janice Jean (Norwood) Harden, brother Andre Norwood, sister Quana Harden, two nieces Jakayra Ward and Shayla Lee, his close friends Charles Gentry, Richard Smith and Solomon Smith and a host of family and friends.
