Mark Allen Henderson

A smile was not far behind Mark Henderson, who brightened every room he entered.  Mark was born on April 29, 1964 in Benton Harbor, MI., from the union of Andrew & Margaret (Johnson) Henderson. 

The youngest son of (9) siblings.  During Mark's (56) years he always embraced family and lived by the motto "Family over Everything". 

Mark was raised in a Christian home and accepted his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age.  Mark was a lifelong resident of Benton Harbor, MI and he attended Benton Harbor Area Schools.  Through out his life he maintained close ties to his community and most of all his family. 

Mark leaves behind to cherish his memory, (4) children; Alesha Henderson of Bento Harbor, MI, Quintessa Coffey of Louisville KY., Paris Henderson & Demetrius Henderson of Hammond, LA; (5) grandchildren: Eshanti Bell; Damarien Bell,; Demi Henderson; Josiah Williams and Demetrius Henderson Jr.; (4) siblings; Pastor Floyd (Samantha) Pittman, Patricia Henderson, Rosemary Sheppard all of Benton Harbor, MI.   Paulette (Anthony) Goodwin of Columbus OH; longtime partner Latoya Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Mark was preceded in death by: his grandmother Julia Johnson,, his parents Andrew Henderson Sr. & Margaret Henderson Juniel; siblings: Nancy Kelly, Gloris Reynolds, Andrew Henderson Jr., Sherry Henderson; and one son Mark Henderson Jr.
