Londrell Devon Cook

Londrell Devon Cook, 26 of Benton Harbor, departed this life on April 11, 2020, at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. 

Londrell, affectionately known as “Ball Harbor” and “Ruga” was born August 16, 1993, in Benton Harbor, MI to Nicole Robinson and Lonzo Cook Sr.

He attended Benton Harbor Area Schools.  He was known for his ability to make those around him smile and laugh.  He enjoyed life to the fullest.  “Ruga” also enjoyed basketball and skating.

Londrell had a special love for his car “The Drop Top”. He would drive his car even through the winter season.  He was employed by Chassix INC and Bridgeville Plastic.

Londrell leaves fond memories of his life in the heart of his parents-Nicole Robinson and Lonzo Sr. (Tasha) Cook; his children-Amere Cook, Khy’Rielle Cook and Laur’n Cook; his siblings-Mark Harris, Charles Jennings, Lonzo Cook Jr., Marius Isom, Emerald Smith, Alexis Cook, Edarin Favorite, and his stepbrother-KeShawn Wade; maternal grandmother Irma Robinson (Arthur Dortch); paternal grandparents- Alice Cook and Lonnie Jones; special aunts-Linda Cook and Karyn Tucker; special love one-Nakia White; his uncles-Mark Cook, Mike Cook, Donald Robinson, Tommie Mims, and Elliot Mims; his aunts-Tiffany Cook, Shari Daniels, Annissa Robinson, Tammy Robinson, Sonya Robinson, Latasha Cook, and Michelle Norton; his friends-Alicia Watson, Tonja Hitchcock, Tawan “Stuff” Watson, Stacy Langford, Michael “MikeAve” Thompson, Roy Anderson, Tyrice Carter, Jamon Yates, and Dontrail Crafton and a host of cousins and friends.

Londrell was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather-Allen Lowe; his uncles Ronald Robinson and Corey Cook; his friends- Devon Lewis and Tykarri Lewis.
