Lisa Ann Rittmon

On Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, MI with family at her bedside, Lisa A., at the young age of 53, Lisa A. Rittmon transitioned into her afterlife. Lisa was born at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Benton Harbor, MI March 19, 1968, to Essie L. Sulton and raised by Edward Sulton.

Lisa attended Benton Harbor Area School; she was the class of 1986. 
Lisa was a spiritual person she believed in God and the power of prayer.

Lisa loved her family, living life, and having a good time, she was always the life of the party. If you knew anything about Lisa, you knew that she could be bossy, demanding, and could touch a nerve like no other BUT it all came from a loving place. Lisa was sensitive and had a heart of gold. If you saw Lisa out and about around town she was always wearing a hat, sunglasses, and lipstick her ‘never leave home without ‘items’. Lisa loved and was loved and will be truly missed by many.

Lisa leaves to cherish her memories, 2 daughters - Lisonta Davis (Gerald) of Savannah, GA and Jessica Davis (Khamisi) of Benton Harbor, MI; 1 granddaughter -Trinity Marshall; 3 grandsons – Jamaeron Rittmon, Kaylynn E. Davis, and Giovanni Crawford; 2 sisters- Sherrie Gibson of Columbia, South Carolina and Jeanettia (Daniel) Green of Lansing, MI; 2 brothers - Anthony Sulton of Benton Harbor and Edward (Shanya) Sulton of Detroit, MI; 1 Aunt -Edith Crawford of St. Louis, MO; 3 Uncles- Joe Rittmon of St. Louis, MO, William Rittmon of Berrien Springs, MI and Bennie Rittmon of Benton Harbor, MI; 2 Great-Uncles Doug Hurns and Nelson Hurns of St. Louis, MO.  Lisa leaves behind 6 nephews, 3 nieces, 4 great-nieces, 9 great-nephews, a special friend Tommy Stirling and a host of family and friends. 

 Lisa’s parents Edward and Essie Sulton, her twins Devin and Kellish Davis, grandsons Khamisi Reid Jr., Joshiah Davis and Derek Burton; nieces Tyeara Charelle Holmes and Chapprenia S’Kyria Holmes and special Aunts Corrine Rittmon and Janet Rittmon preceded her in death.
