Linda "Sugar" Tyler Obituary

On Wednesday, May 18, 1960, in Duncan, MS., Linda was born to the late Aaron and Idella Tyler. They welcomed a beautiful bouncing baby girl in this world and together they named her Linda Kay Tyler. Linda affectionately called Sugar Ma “Sugar” departed this world on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Linda attended Benton Harbor Area Schools and was a proud graduate of Benton Harbor High School Class of 1979.  She continued her education and graduated from Lake Michigan College with her Associate’s Degree.  Sugar Ma worked various jobs in her life just to name a couple Kmart and Atlantic Automotive (JVIS). Linda was offered an early retirement package, which she graciously accepted and later became a Domestic Engineer.

Linda enjoyed cooking, shopping, going on trips with her baby girl and more importantly spending time with family.
