Laura Ann (Taylor) Franklin

Laura Ann Franklin formerly Laura Ann Taylor, age 75 of Lansing, Michigan was called home on Monday April 12, 2021.

Laura was born and raised in Benton Harbor, MI.  and educated in the Benton Harbor Area School System where she graduated at the top of her class.

Laura was a retired Administrator for Ameritech where she received many accolades throughout her robust career.

Laura loved God, her family, enjoyed sports and music was the food to her soul.

She leaves behind two daughters, Rhonda Baxter (Dennis) and Orlinda McCall, seven (7) grandchildren,  nine (9) great-grandchildren, five (5) sisters; Ida Rellis, Bernice Cain (Arthur Cain), Delores Singleton, Zenovia Coates and Lorraine Watson, Rita Taylor and a  host of nephews and nieces, extended family, and friends.

Laura was preceded in death by, her parents, Robert John and Annie Mae Taylor, three (3) brothers, and a great grandchild.

Services will be held at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church 1105 East Main Street Benton Harbor, MI 49022. The viewing is at 10:00 am and services will be held at 11:00am.
