Kenneth W. Pratcher II

Kenneth Wayne Pratcher 23 of Battle Creek MI, departed this life on October 29, 2023, in Kalamazoo, MI.

Kenneth affectionately known as “Bam” was born on February 5, 2000, to Kelvin and Rena Pratcher in St. Joseph, MI. Kenneth was a fun-loving and energetic person, who loved playing basketball, and video games with his close cousins and friends.  He also loved making TikTok with his niece Ava. 

Kenneth received his formal education in the Battle Creek School System.  Kenneth was an animal lover who raised and cared for several breeds of dogs.  Kenneth was an artist who loved music and had several music videos out to on Splurge Entertainment. “Bam” loved spending time with his family and always made any occasion Fun.

Kenneth’s hearty laughter and high-energy personality will be greatly missed and always remembered by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Jy’Aire Joshawn Johnson Pratcher; his mother, Rena Pratcher; two brothers, Kelvin Anthony Pratcher Jr.  {Lil K} of Benton Harbor, MI, and Terrence Harvell of Battle Creek MI; two sisters, Kelvesha Pratcher of Grand Rapids, MI and Verlira Pratcher of Battle Creek, MI; his grandparents, George and Mary Harvell; four special cousins, Daryl Gill Jr., Chardaze London, Shantai Pratcher, and LaQuan Bulter Jr.; three special friends, Aaron Washington, Lyondre Burnett and Raekwon Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, family and friends.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Kelvin Anthony Pratcher Sr., Cousins: Darius “Karate” Wimberly, Samurai D Lowe, Grandfather Otis Gilliams, Grandfather Willie B Pratcher and Grandmother Verlira Pratcher
