Kemonte Donnell Austin

Kemonte Austin, better known as “Dontay of Elkhart was born to the union of  Barbara Williams and James Harris on June 11th, 1974.

Dontay studied at Florida State University and ITT Technical Institute, he was a BHHS class graduate of 1993.

Dontay favorite colors were Burgundy and Peanut butter, he had a love for music and loved big, nice cars/trucks.

He was a people person and was not afraid to try new things, he always had a smile on his face and was the center of attraction.  He openly welcomed challenges to prove himself worthy.

Dontay was a funny, silly, sweet, smart, cool, and laid-back individual.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Clara Austin two step-daughters Ramya and Nevaeh Bonds, mother-n-law Irean Bonds, brother-in-law Williams (Latosha) two sister-in-laws Tiara Bonds of Elkhart IN, and  Sheree (Mulchie) Msonda of Seattle WA., one daughter Jerica Johnson of Benton Harbor, one sister Danada (John) Shiverdecker of Zealand MI, one half-sister Latonya (Johnnie) Davis of Benton Harbor,  MI, one brother Marcus Williams of Battle Creek MI,  two half-brothers Timmothy (Shemeka) Williams of Benton Harbor MI, Dewon White of Texas, along with many cousins and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Peacelynn Williams, and a special auntie Queen who helped raise him.
