Obituary

Johnny B Summerville was born on September 4, 1960, in Hollandale MS, to the union of Mary Houston and Joe Summerville. 

Johnny moved to California in the late ’70s, where he graduated from San Diego High School and he later became a Chef. Johnny was also a mechanic; he ran his furniture store from the apartment and ran his restaurant.

Johnny married Patricia Summerville in 1985. They were married for 35yrs, and to this union, 4 children were born.

Johnny will be sorely missed by his wife Patricia Summerville, his children 2 sons Johnny Summerville Jr. of IL, Davis Summerville of MI 1 daughter Patrice Summerville, of MI.  Siblings 6 brothers Roosevelt, Frankie, Willie B, Sammy Lee, Donsirell, and Dwayne. One Sister Gloria Jean.  1 grandson Josiah.  He also has 2 brothers-in-law, Earl, and Alvin of OH, and one sister-in-law Alicia of MI.

 A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and associates 

Johnny preceded in death by his parents, 1 son Lucas Summerville, 1 brother Johnny Lee 1 Aunt Laura, and Cousin Michelle. 

Johnny will be missed by anyone who knew him. Johnny was a person you could not easily forget if you knew him because he grew on whomever he met.  He would touch the lives of anyone he met.

His favorite words to his wife were “Johnny and Pat forever!
