Johnnie Lee Johnson was born to Abron Johnson and Ruthie Mae McMiller on March 11, 1957 in Hughes, Arkansas. He attended Ernie Pyle and Calumet High School as a young boy when he moved to Gary, IN. John Boy was preceded in death by his loving father, Abron Johnson, brother Eugene Scott, Sisters, Magnolia Scott and Anna Coopwood. John leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Josh Johnson of WI, Johnnie (Megan) Johnson of MS; two daughters, Lakeisha Johnson of MN and Michelle Bickham of MI; three granddaughters, Sheniqua Johnson, Myeasha Wright and Moranda Brown all of MN; two grandsons, Javontae and Jayshaun both of MS; two great grandsons, Damaruis Wright and Syncere Jackson both of MN; his long term companionship with Laura Montgomery; five loving sisters, Luttisha (Charlie) Handy of IL, Mary Washington of MN, Sarah (Sylvester) Green, Katherine Lovelace, Addie Johnson all of Gary, IN; one brother James Johnson of WI; Sister in law, Von Scott of TN and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other family and friend
