John E. “Papa John” Huddleston Sr., 79 of Benton Harbor passed away February 5, 2020, at Spectrum health Lakeland, St. Joseph. John was born on February 26, 1940, in Buena Vista, MS to the union of Tome and Ivera Huddleston. He had a passion for fishing and watching sports. John worked for Southern Beverage for 25 years and retired.
John is survived by his wife, Ann Huddleston; daughters, Keshar Huddleston, Tabatha Listernbee and Schacetta Listenbee.; sons, John (Tracy) Huddleston Jr. and Jonathan (Iveth) Huddleston; sisters, Mary Helen McAllister, and rosemary (Jessie) Whitelow; granddaughters, Tyeshia (Jermaine) Brown and Tamara Huddleston: grandsons, Derrick Grady, John Huddleston III, Preston (Jessanna) Huddleston, Marcus Huddleston, and Tavarious Holmes; godsons, Pastor Jeffery DeLoney and Allen Stephenson; special friends, Edwin and Violet Fetke; pets, Honey and Marcus; a host of nephews, Nieces, Cousins, family, and friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Tome and Ivera Huddleston; Sons, Terrence Tyrone “Big Ti” Huddleston and Kerry Lynn Huddleston; brothers, Lora, Willie T., Prince and James “Doc” Huddleston; Nephew, Marcus Huddleston.
