Jeremiah J. Tillman

Jeremiah Joseph Tillman was born on December 1st, 2005. At the age of 3 years old, Jeremiah grew a fond liking to his big Red Lightning McQueen car. He also developed an unconditional love for his mom, Annette. 

Jeremiah has always been a sweet warm-hearted person and will forever be in our hearts. There isn’t anything Jeremiah wouldn’t do for anyone. He had always been that helping hand. His Presence alone provided solace for those around him. His comfort zone was in the room playing video games and sometimes putting on a deep voice to charm the ladies. One of the most memorable moments of Jeremiah was when he attempted to be a class clown. To follow up with his jokester energy, he had to get his hair cut like George Jefferson for the next school day. It’s safe to say he learned his lesson.

Jeremiah had a consistent habit of cracking phone screens, but he was very professional with maneuvering around the cracks. Jeremiah’s favorite food was “everything he said everything was good” no matter who cooked it. He had a soft spot that touched his soul for his grandmother’s, Donna Faye’s cooking. Jeremiah graduated from Benton Harbor High School on June 9th,2023. His favorite class was construction. He also spent a lot of time in class with Mr. Wolf, Mrs. Carson, and Mrs. Elizabeth. The love of Class, and with the support of his family and teachers; he begun expressing his desire of becoming a mechanic. 

After graduation, Jeremiah became the community brother of his sister’s Jasmine, apartment complex while playing basketball with the kids at the park no matter their age.  Jeremiah leaves behind his mom Annette Tillman, and his brother and sisters Brittany Burnett, Jasmine Taylor, Rudy Tillman, Asia Tillman, and India Tillman. His Birth parents; Dion Bell Sr. and Tjuana Martin. Sisters and Brothers; Dae’vion Bell, Miracle Martin, Julius Clark Jr, Dion Bell Jr, and Shania Robertson. His Grandparents; Dianah Tillman, Ezell (Robin) Tillman, Annette Boyd, and Lawrence Bell. His aunts and uncle; Carla Woodson, Tasha Tillman, Angel (Tim) Gulledge, Tiyuna Bell, and Tiffany Bell.  His Nieces and Nephews; Keonna Burnett, Mariah Hudson, Isaiah Taylor, and Ar’Moni Roman.
