Janet (Smith) Foster

Janet S. Foster, 73 of Benton Harbor went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2023.

Janet was born October 6, 1949, in Benton Harbor, MI to the union of Alberta Clark Smith and Joyce Smith. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1967.

Janet worked as a bus driver for the Benton Harbor School system, and she loved those children. She adored her grandchildren and spending time with her family. Janet enjoyed fishing, gardening, and cruises.
 

Janet leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Jacqueline Luttrell of Westland, MI; granddaughters, Alexis (Kedra) McCall of Westland, MI, Joyce (Raphael) Mosley, of Marietta, GA, and Ala-Star Officer, of Houston, TX; grandson, Darin Luttrell, of Westland, MI; great-grandchildren, Louvell Marshall, Syiann Parker, Angelina Smith, Jayden Gates, Aniya Gates, Jaiell Dowdy, Tatum Gates, Amaya Luttrell, and Jaiden Brown; best friend, Betty Whitfield; special sisters, Sandra Wells, Vicki Strouthers, Marie Burgess, and Vanessa Terrell; special brothers, Anthony Terrell and Sidney Terrell; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

 Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Alberta and Joyce Smith.
