James Dyson Obituary

James “Darwin” Dyson Jr. was born on May 4th, 1966, to James Junior Dyson Sr and Florine (Bethea) Dyson in Benton Harbor, MI.

James was educated in the Benton Harbor School Systems, where he graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1984. He went on to attend Phoenix Institute of Technology in Phoenix, AZ, where he earned an Associate Degree in Electrical Technology.

James was the kind of person who could light up any room with laughter and a little bit of mischief. He was known for his fun-loving spirit and quick jokes. James was known for being a handy man and a jokester to his family. All his friends would consider him a loyal and dedicated friend.  He will forever be known as a hustling man. James loved deeply and laughed loudly and lived fully. Family and friends will always remember his big smile and laugh and the ability to turn ordinary moments into lasting memories.

 James “Darwin” favorite saying: “Don’t you start that Jeff Davis stuff.”

He leaves to mourn one sister Delphine L. Dyson, one nephew Anthony D. Allen Jr., one  son, James “Twink”  Ferguson four aunts Theretha Bowens, Delorse (T.J.) Taylor, Benton Harbor, MI, Myrtle (James) White, JoAnne (Earnest) Bruton, Waukegan, IL, six uncles James  Bethea, Samuel (Stacy) Bethea, John Bethea, Ronnie Patrick and Anthony Patrick, Benton Harbor, MI,  Eddie (Rose) Lusk, East St. Louis, IL, seven long life brothers, Anthony D. Allen  Sr.,  Ed and Tim Buchanan, Bill and Paul Nash, Marcus Oliver, and James Luther Taylor., and  host of cousins and friends.

Preceded him death, his parents James and Florine (Bethea)Dyson, one sister Lynette Dyson, one nephew Aaron Devonte Allen, two aunts Jacqueline E. Bethea, Linda Patrick and four uncles Harrell Bethea, Ellis Bethea Donnie Bethea, Freddie Lusk.
