James Edward Clark, our beloved one was born October 8th, 1968 in Tennessee to Edward Lee and Earnestine, the tenth child of ten children.
Earnestine left Tennessee with James at his young age and moved to Benton Harbor, MI. There, James attended the Benton Harbor school system where he received his education and had many friends. Later in years James relocated to Detroit, MI. James was employed at Technicolor Inc. James had a helping hand for others and his passion growing up was skating. James was full of life and laughter that sparked an entire room. He had a pimp walk and a smile you could never forget.
James made his transition on December 24th, 2025 with his mother and family at his bedside. James was preceded in death by his father Edward Lee, sisters Ivy Marie, Debra and June; his brothers Michael, Tyrone, Robert Lewis, and James Edward Swift Jr. and a nephew Herman.
James leaves to cherish in loving memory his loving mother Earnestine; his children Lil James, Jameshia, Shamiah and six grandchildren; his sisters Jackie and Regina, and brothers Freddie, James (Vick), Curtis, Livery, Tyrone Swift, and Leornard Swift and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and his homeboy Darnell of Detroit.
Our baby brother/ uncle your smile, your walk, your fly style, and heart will truly be missed and forever be in each of our hearts.
My baby, you are in Momma's heart forever. I'm going to miss you. I wanted to keep you here with me but dear God welcomed you home. Momma loves you until the day comes for us to be together again. Rest in Heaven.
