Henry Lee Pullen

“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. On December 31, 2024, Henry Lee Pullen (70), a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend transitioned from this Earthly home to his Heavenly home.

Henry was born to the late Ernest and Virgina Pullen on January 24, 1954 in Chicago, IL. As a young child, Henry contracted polio but he never considered himself handicapped.  Whatever activities his brothers did, they always included him.  Henry came to Benton Harbor in the late 80s to be close to family.

Loving memories will always be in the hearts of his children: Shawna Pullen and Ashley Pullen; two grandchildren: Terryana Watts and Carolina Pullen; four great grandchildren: Terrion, Terra, Ah’zhanie, and Ah’zarie; siblings: Willie E. Pullen, Laura Watson, Napoleon Pullen, Arlene Williams, Kelvin Pullen, Doris (Eric) Goodson, and Edward Austin; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and 3 special friends: Freddie Dancer, Danita Jackson, Chivanza Pierce.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives: Brenda and Deloris Pullen; three brothers: Ernest, Vincent, and Melvin Pullen, and one sister: Eunice Traylor.
