Halo De'Shawn Cooks was born at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI to the union of Ashley Boyd and Martez Davis.
Halo was a happy baby, his smile and infectious laugh lights up a room and warms your heart. He enjoyed watching Elmo while effortlessly playing with his push and pull toys in his walker.
He is survived by his mother, Ashley M. Boyd; his father: Martez Davis; four brothers, James E. Moore, Tayveon Davis, Jayceon Davis, and Javontae Lewis; his grandmothers, Nicole C. Hankins and Lasandra (Samuel) Johnson both of Benton Harbor, MI; his grandfathers, Cameron (Qwenyatta) London of Atlanta, GA and Robert (Sharon) Lewis of Blytheville, AK; four uncles, Tommie E. Turner, Ta'Corey D. Turner, Anthony Johnson and Jalen Johnson all of Benton Harbor, MI; three aunts Kamryonna London, Camahri London both of Atlanta, GA, and Alexis (Ki Ki) Lewis of Benton Harbor, MI and a host of great uncles, great aunts, niece, nephews, and cousins.
Halo was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Henry and Florence Ann Cooks and Earlie Mae Jennings and Curtis Lee Broyles; and a great uncle, Adrian Hankins.
