Gregory Kelly, 58 formerly of Benton Harbor departed this life on April 21, 2020, in Lansing, MI.

Gregory Renardo Kelly was the fourth child and only son of the late Maxine Turner-Kelly. He was born June 26, 1961, in Benton Harbor, MI to the late Maxine Turner-Kelly and William (Hoggie) Booker.

Gregory Renardo Kelly, affectionately known as “Scotty” and “New York Scotty”. He attended Benton Harbor Area Schools. Gregory left Benton Harbor at the age of 17 years old to pursue his dream as an entrepreneur.  He resided in New York for 20 years prior to returning to Michigan.

Gregory was a very sharp dresser. He loved his suits and shoes and never worn tennis shoes.  Gregory children were his pride and joy and so was his grey Mercedes-Benz.

Gregory was a loving father, grandfather, brother and he was a smooth talker, quick thinker, and a jokester.  He loved meeting new people as he traveled state to state.  He enjoyed making those around him laugh and smile with his jokes.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Losetta Kelly and Na’Kita Kelly; his sons Gregory (Nicole) Huddleston and Scotty Osby; eight sisters, Joantha Smith-Raines, Cassandra (Randy) Kelly-Jones, Willa Kelly, Regina Kelly, Kimberly Kelly, Michelle Anderson, Roshanna (Bryan) Williams, and Tabitha Kelly; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maxine Turner-Kelly, William Booker; his great-nephew Karlos Kelly.
