Geraldine (Seabury) Grigereit

Geraldine Joyce Seabury Grigereit, 89 of Coloma departed this life February 27, 2025. She was born December 1, 1935 in Coloma, MI to Eva (Davis) and Frederick Seabury.

Geraldine grew up on a farm in Covert, MI with her siblings. They lost both of their parents at a young age, but they took care of each other, creating a very strong bond. She was so proud of her siblings and their farm. Geraldine drove tractors and learned to raise many animals, including cows & horses. 

Geraldine enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and any other kid who showed up at her house. She also enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and doing word searches. Geraldine also had a strong love for animals, especially dogs. 

She had a very infectious personality, even in her last days she made everybody around her laugh. Geraldine was "Grandma, Mema" to many children through the years. She is our treasure; we will miss her terribly. 

Geraldine is survived by her children, Donna Braisher of Dowagiac, Diane (Ken) Allerman of Covert, Rhonda Grigereit of Battle Creek and son Carl Grigereit of Norman Oklahoma; grandchildren: Tabitha Allerman, Phillip Braisher, April Braisher, Blake Grigereit, Anthony Grigereit and Harley Allerman; a bonus granddaughter: Stacey Rock; 12 great grandchildren; a host of family and friends. 

Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 62 years: Carl Grigereit Jr.; sister: Mary Jensen; brothers: Warren & John Seabury.
