Later in life, she relocated to Poplar Bluff, MO and spent many years there until finally relocating and settling in Benton Harbor, MI in 1967. Georgia enjoyed cooking and did most of her baking from scratch.

Later in life, Georgia founded a gospel group initially called Freewill Gospel Singers (Now known as The Faithful Travelers). The group was active until her passing with friends and family as members throughout the years. She was a devoted Christian and had a zero-tolerance attitude. Ms. Georgia DID NOT play.
