Frankie L. Pipkins Sr.

Frankie Lavern Pipkins,69, of Benton Harbor was called home October 13, 2023, surrounded by his family at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, MI.

Frankie's life began on April 15, 1954, in Haleyville AL, son of Lavern Pipkins and Alice Marie Roetzel.

He was disabled in 1993. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. 

He will be greatly missed by many. Frankie is survived by his ex-wife Shirley Pipkins whom he was married to for 33 years; daughter Laura (Gary) Shindeldecker Jr; Son Frankie (Kerrie) Pipkins Jr; four sisters, Jean (Mike) Closson; Kathy DeBusk; Linda Varvel; Peggy (Johnny) Costner.  5 grandchildren, Rachelle Bogard, Britni Shindeldecker, Miranda Shindeldecker, Chris Reck, Andrew Adams.

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents Lavern Pipkins and Alice M. Roetzel, a grandson Frankie Pipkins III a sister Judy Pipkins, and 4 brother-in-laws.
