Fairy Ann Bonds was born on April 15, 1962, in Berrien Centre, MI to the late Wilton Bonds and Jessie Mae McGee (Wilson). She was baptized at an early age and became a member of the Greater Wayside Temple Church of God and Christ.
Fairy Ann graduated from Elkhart Memorial High School in 1981. Fairy loved interior decorating, cooking, family gathering, shopping, and planting flowers. Fairy was employed at Home Sweet Home and Arcadia as a Home Health Aide for many years.
Fairy Ann departed this life to journey into the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ Saturday, January 7, 2023, at IU Methodist Health Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
Fairy Ann leaves to cherish her memories one son Lanaro (Nicole) Bonds, one daughter Tynika (Tavon) Bonds both of Elkhart, IN, ten grandchildren Tamryn Conner, Janara Bonds, Ty’Shawn Bonds, Demonni Collins, Tavon Warren Jr, Tre’Shawn Harris, Maurice Johnson Jr, Philant Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, two great-grandchildren Camron Williams, Natalia Conner. Also, five sisters Debra Harrison Delores (Edward) Purdiman of Elkhart, IN, Shelissa (Keith) Marshall of Osceola, IN, JoAnn (Jasper) Rutherford of Mishawaka, IN, Mary (John) Morton of Benton Harbor, MI, Four brothers Wavey Bonds and DeShawn (Janet) Bonds all of Elkhart, IN, Wilton Bonds Jr of Benton Harbor, MI, Joe Bonds of Nashville, TN, Her two aunt’s Johnny Buford of Elkhart, IN, Marva Pullen of Benton Harbor, MI, uncle Emmanuel Higgins of Elkhart, IN, Godmother Sister Ruth Mack of Elkhart, IN, and God sons are Alphonse Higgins, DeAaron Ruff, Her very special friends are Cheryl Hosford, Ann White, Ira Barnett, and very special patient she cared for Miya Sappanos.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life Willie Earl Autrey, her parents Wilton Bonds and Jessie Mae Wilson, three loving aunt’s Veola Daniels, Katie Higgins, Lacy Bell Bradley, three sisters Dorothy McCalley, and Lorene Bonds, one grandson XzAvion Harris. Her special friend preceded her in death, Wanda Cockerham.
