Emmett Dyer Jr.

Mr. Emmett (June Bug) Dyer born February 16, 1961, to the late Mr. Emmett Dyer Sr. and Daisy Reece Dyer in Benton Harbor, Michigan.

June Bug or Bug as we called him was a loving Son, Father Brother Uncle and Friend. June Bug had a sense of humor and he considered himself irresistible. June Bug never met a stranger he considered family.

Emmett loved his 2 sisters as only the youngest can, while looking up to his 1 oldest brother being the baby of the family it showed.

Emmett attended Benton Harbor Area School.

Emmett (June Bug) Dyer entered eternal rest on September 19, 2023. Leaving to mourn his brother, Richard Bonds of Benton Harbor MI; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Johnson and Mrs. Nancy Dyer-Stovall; a special cousin, Barbara Jean Reece; special friends, Rose Washington and Gerry Winston; several grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Emmett was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett Dyer Sr. and Daisy (Reece) Dyer; one daughter, Denita Shay Johnson; grandparents, Rubin and Emma Reece and Isaac and Nancy Dyer

He will be truly missed his smile sense of humor and love for family.
