Ella Mae Wade, was born January 26, 1935 in Brinkley, Arkansas to Magnolia and Roosevelt Robinson.
Ella was a loving, kind, and generous person. Her love for family and people showed by the way that she always helped others. The lord was her shepherd, and she was vigorous in her faith. She loved gospel music, Reverend F.C. was a staple in her home. Believe it or not, watching wrestling was exciting to her and you could not convince her that it was staged. The beauties of nature were right outside her door as she was able to sit on her porch or go to the river and take them all in. Visiting with family and friends, while enjoying laughter and delicious food brought joy to her heart. She was truly a beautiful soul and a safe haven for her family! Ella wasn’t just a mother. When she needed to be she was a therapist, a confidant, a protector, and a healer. She was the best friend that you could ever have and an amazing Chef! A firefly who was tough and wouldn’t take any mess from anyone, she taught her family how to always be strong. Ella was our “Superhero”. A phenomenal woman, indeed.
