Elizabeth Williams

Elizabeth Williams departed this life on May 3, 2024, in her home in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was 67. Elizabeth was a hard worker who deeply loved her parents, children and extended family. She loved to spend time tending to her yard and upkeeping her home. She often surprised her parents by landscaping their yard. Elizabeth also loved dogs and became fonder of them later in her life. She attended Benton Harbor schools including Benton Harbor High School where she ran track and graduated in 1974. 

Elizabeth was born on May 25, 1956, at Mercy Hospital in Benton, Michigan. She spent her early life in Benton Harbor and after graduation she moved to Kalamazoo. She started working at Simpson Paper company where she remained for 27 years until the company closed. Elizabeth continued working in the manufacturing industry at the Coca Cola Company where she retired.

Elizabeth is survived by her children Calvin Williams (Toledo, Ohio) and Renee Williams (Kalamazoo) and siblings Blanche Williams (Washington, D.C.), Renee Frazier (Grand Rapids, Michigan), Evonne Williams and Gwendolyn Williams (both of Benton Harbor) and special friend Kathy Whitelow (Niles, Michigan). She was preceded in death by her parents Ida B. and Johnnie Williams and siblings John Mickey Williams and Rozelle Williams.
