Jewel passed away at Lakeland Spectrum Regional Hospital on April 9th, 2020 due to a long illness. Jewel will be missed by many; she had a beautiful personality and a loving spirit which drew so many to her.

Jewel leaves to cherish her memories with 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, and family, Aunt Gladys Buckner of Benton Harbor MI, and a special friend Willa Beene Brown of Columbia, Maryland

Jewel is Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son (Allan Darryl Smith), Grandson (James Price Jr.), Great Granddaughter (Kenya Tatum). Brothers: Tyrone C. Price, Wyman Price, Donnie Price, Jerry Price, Kenneth Price, Stanley Price, and Marvin Price & Sisters: Sheldia Shepherd and Bernice Price.
