Obituary

 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.  2nd Timothy 4:7-8

Mr. Edale Williams departed this life on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI.

Edale was born to Melviney Williams and Gabbert Jackson in Benton Harbor, MI on September 26, 1961.

Edale worked various jobs in Benton Harbor. He was devoted father, brother, uncle, and a good friend.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Yarsha Thompson; one son, Shabuoy Pitchford; one granddaughter, Liberty Deanes-Thompson; a long-life partner, Sandran Williams; five sisters, Judy Williams, Ernestine Williams, Delores Williams, Pearlee Jackson and Karen Williams; one brother, Charles Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
