Earnis (Miller) Harmon

Earnestine Harmon, 67 of Benton Harbor departed this life February 2, 2020. 

Earnestine was born June 27, 1952 in Jackson, MSS to Lisse Mae Nelson and Eli Miller. She graduated from BHHS class of 1969. She worked for Mercy Memorial Hospital and continued her services until 2009 under Lakeland Medical Center. Earnestine will be remembered by those who loved her by hr kind heart, her sweet potato pies and being the funniest person in the room using words like “Sap Sucka” and “Don’t be no fool”

Earnestine Leaves to cherish her memory her children, Howard Harmon Jr. Kanika (Kurt) Murphy and Jarive; sisters, Willie Miller and Rose Wysinger; 7 grandchildren; brothers, Tommie Buie and Robert Palmer; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Earnestine was preceded in death by her mother, Lisse Nelson; son, Joel Harmon; great grandson, Landon Joel Harmon; sisters, Patricia Miller and Lois Miller-Henley; nephew, Cortez Miller
